Summary: KMail does not recieve messages when left running for a
                    long time
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: andrey brozhko com

Version: 1.9.3 (using KDE 3.5.3-4.1, Fedora Core release 5 (Bordeaux))
Compiler: Target: x86_64-redhat-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.17-1.2139_FC5

I have one POP3/SMTO account setup in my kmail. When I leave it running for a long \
time, i.e. 24 hours or so it stops collecting mail from the POP3 server. The new mail \
is not collected automatically (I configured it to check the server every 1 minute), \
and it does not happen when I choose to check mail manually. I am almost certain that \
it says "Checking account .... " in the status bar constantly when kmail is in this \
broken "mode" and never goes to "Transmition for account ... complete", but I am not \
100 percent sure.

It certainly not a server problem as thunderbird works like a charm . And if I close \
kmail and then launch it again next time it checks the account it downloads the new \
messages no problem. _______________________________________________
