Well, Andreas, I offered to help where I can - I think my idea of journalling in \
KMail can help to fix the issue at its cause. Pierre Habouzit recently offered some \
code analysis and fixes. Rob Kaper recently brought the index file issue on the \
table. Others contributed insights and reports. Thats a good start.

My hope is that in the end when everyone contributes his or her skills it all comes \
together: Analysis, design and documentation of a fix as well as its implementation.

Yes, no one has yet fixed the issue and someone is needed to implement, say code, a \
fix, Andreas. We all know that, don't we? I ask you kindly to concentrate on \
constructively contributing to solving the bug as your skills allow, instead of \
stating what seems rather obvious to me. Its broken, only acceptance of this can help \
to free energy needed to fix it.

I am also offering to test any fixes as time and resources permit.
