Summary: if copies of sent messages cannot be uploaded to the
IMAP server they should be moved there from the local
                    folder later
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: hauke laging de

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Sometimes uploading a copy of the message just sent fails and the copy is put into \
the local "sent" folder. I think it would be useful to automatically move these \
messages once the connection to the IMAP server could be established again. One \
reason is that I sometimes look for messages and don't find them there. I do not \
always think of searching locally, too. The other reason is that the messages on the \
IMAP server are safe from local hardware or software disasters... I move them \
manually from time to time now. I guess KMail would have to write an additional \
header (which might be removed when uploading later) whichs stores the information to \
which sender identity the mail belongs (so that the according server can be looked \
up). _______________________________________________
