Please improve IMAP-support in KMail !

Compared to Mozilla-Thunderbird IMAP in KMail is slow.

Sometimes it is moving mails around (without any reason, seams to be the bugfix for \
the lost-mails issue).

Sometimes checking for new mails is not possible as KMail hangs
in "getting directory contents" (but doesn't crash ! you're able to
open other directories, but mostly you're not able to get any messages
from the affected imap-server until you restart KMail)

Sometimes KMail hangs while reading new mail from the imap-server (again KMail
doesn't crash, but you've to restart KMail to read mails from this particular
imap-server)

I don't file this as bugs as this doesn't happen all the time but often enough
to be annoying.
I'm using sbox.tugraz.at and imap.web.de for IMAP.
