I don't see here anything about quality, usability, etc. If someone made a mistake \
all she/he is supposed to say that it was intentional and...? that's all?

Maybe it was unfortunate move, design flaw, I don't know. The historic reasons maybe \
are interesting for developers but not for the end-users. Only quality counts.

Ok, enough about that.

Columns view in general should be fully configurable /currently they are not/ but \
also per folder. I would like to set for folder A columns  subject | receiver | date
for B
subject | sender | date

just an example. It could be something like profiles in Forte Agent. There is one \
global profile and then settings for folder -- "use global or local". If local -- the \
user is able to modify specific setting. \
