           Summary: kmail crashes on startup
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: kavol seznam cz

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.5 (Gentoo 3.4.5, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux

Hello,

kmail crashed when sending a message and since that I am unable to start it, it \
always crashes just after asking me to open kde wallet. I know that there is a bunch \
of other "crash on startup" bugreports, but none seemed the same to me (and, besides, \
a lot of them are for older versions) - so please do not be angry if this is really \
dup, I tried my best.

Now I am going to try the new 3.5.2 (however it is still not marked stable ...) if \
the problem is still there, so maybe I won't be able to provide further details (I \
need to get it working and not to wait if the developers have some questions about \
the conditions under which the problem occurs ...) But I am going to report about the \
progress.

The commandline output:
