Maybe, instead, let khtml handle the whole thing? If khtml had a method, that would \
show local (to the directory) things only, it could add its own button to allow \
displaying the external stuff.

KMail then would need only to create the (temporary) directory, dump any attachements \
in there and call the special method without passing things back and forth. \
