If you're compiling KDE yourself, you add --enable-debug=full to the configure line. \
I'm not sure what the appropriate gentoo flag is.

If the crash doesn't occur with a new user, you could try working around the problem \
by moving ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc somewhere else, and then reentering your KMail \
settings. Obviously it would be better to solve the bug in kmail, but you could at \
least get a working kmail (perhaps). _______________________________________________
