------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=121021 Summary: Changing Shortcuts for 'next' 'previous' message do not affect shift-next or shift-previous. Product: kmail Version: 1.9.1 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org ReportedBy: dbs stonekeep com Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When using the Settings->Configure Shortcuts to redefine some of the navigation keys (I've redefined the Left and Right 'prev' 'next' functions to Up and Down arrow, which I find more intuitive), the option for selecting multiple messages is still bound to the old keystrokes, and the Configure Shortcuts menu has no way of changing that. In fact, to select multiple messages, shift-left and shift-right still select multiples, while up and down move the pointer. Only one of hte selections changed. Note I am not railing against the default keyboard layout for kmail, that is a choice the developers have made. But a function redefinition should be possible and complete. _______________________________________________ KMail developers mailing list KMail-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kmail-devel
