Inadvertently striking the Insert key toggles the KMail composer into overwrite mode. \
This mode change cannot be disabled and is not accompanied by any kind of visual \
feedback.

Two wishes:

1) Provide the ability to disable this mode entirely (as, e.g., Eudora provides)
2) Provide visual feedback in the lower margin along with the Column: and Line: \
