I am continually sending unmodified replys to newsgroups that consist of nothing \
except a block of quoted text. This kind of embarrassing, e.g.:

I don't know why this happens, as I cannot find a repeatable bug in KMail, I'll just \
have to presume that I have a split personality that does nothing but send unmodified \
replys to newsgroups. However...

It would be useful if KMail popped up a warning dialog confirming that one wants to \
send an unmodified reply (unless reply is to a .*-request  * email address), the same \
way it pops up a warning about sending a message with no subject. \
