Summary: KMail composer: enable spellchecking language selection
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.8.3
          Platform: Unlisted Binaries
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: greatbunzinni gmail com

Version: 1.8.3 (using KDE KDE 3.4.3)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

I have the need to write emails in a couple of languages. Right now, it isn't \
possible to define the spellchecker's language for each mail a user ir writing. So, \
in effect, what happens is that if a user writes a mail in the spellchecker's \
language, the spellchecker will work as expected. If the user writes a mail in a \
language other than the spellchecker's language, the spellchecker will not work (will \
identify everything as an error) and the user will not be able to choose the \
spellchecker's language.

It would be nice if KMail had an option to select which language it supported and if \
KMail's email composer had a slidebar in the toolbar which would enable the user to \
select the spellchecker's language. KDE's multilingual users would greatly appreciate \
this functionality. _______________________________________________
