Usually, I use kmail recipients selector : I have no contact in kaddressbook.

Whenever I select a recipient whose name appears to be empty in recipients selector \
(only his email address is known), and click on " Add as to: " button, the field " To \
" remains empty.

Only the recipient type " TO, CC, BCC " is updated.
