Summary: display and useage of distribution lists is broken
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.8.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: jens-bugs.kde.org spamfreemail de

Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-9-default

Hello,

first, I don't see any way to edit a distribution list. I need to edit one because it \
contains about 10 mail addresses, one of which is incorrect, which causes KMail to \
complain

"Doe, Jon" does not contain a " " and is therefore invalid. No messages can be sent \
with this address."

Strangely, KMail accepted this address when I created the distribution list (by \
entering all addresses below each other, each into a seperate "To:" field, and then \
chose "Save List.." next to the address fields. I could send the first mail and got a \
bounce from my local MTA for the incorrect address.

This would be a bug, IMHO - if an address is syntactically incorrect, KMail should \
complain upon creation of a distribution list and not only when using it again.

Thanks,

Jens
