This means that when composing new mail, the append signature option remains unchanged, and also, when viewing KMail Settings, the state (of the checkbox) reverts to the previous change. Once KMail is restarted, the change takes effect, AND in the KMail Settings dialogue, the option (checkbox) reflects the correct state. Upon further changes to this setting, they take effect immediately for both of the above mentioned conditions. How to Reproduce: * new KMail installation (no kmailrc, etc.) * disable "Automatically append signature" * compose new mail (signature will be appended incorrectly) * check KMail Settings dialogue -- setting has reverted * restart KMail * everything works as normal Expected Behaviour: * any changes to this setting will take effect immediately without restart _______________________________________________ KMail developers mailing list KMail-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kmail-devel
