I don't have xv, but I was assuming that xedit or xpdf would behave the same.
I just tried, and kioexec --tempfiles is launched as expected, but it also exits as \
expected after closing xedit or xpdf, so I see no bug there. Can you try if you get \
the bug with xedit or xpdf? If not, then there must be something special about xv.
When you launch "xv <somefile>" from a terminal, does it give the control back \
immediately, or only after closing the window? After closing the window, the xv \
process does exit, right?

Note to self and other KDE devels: kioexec simply uses KProcess in Block mode... So \
if it's stuck, it sounds like a KProcess bug... \
