When kmail is invoked (as standalone or as kpart of kontact) it checks only the INBOX \
of a IMAP account on startup. New mails in subfolders are ignored until a scheduled \
mail check occurs or a manual check for new mail is done (using "Look for new mail", \
hope the english label is named this way. In german it reads "Nach Email sehen").

This is new to 3.4. Previous versions behaved correct (all new messages in all \
subfolders of the INBOX are encountered on startup).

Using cyrus IMAP server. If this is on interest.
