Summary: Irrelevant "auto-cut at colum 78" and "Use fixed font"
                    for HTML messages
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: slaout linux62 org

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)

I don't understand why, but KMail still cut my mails even if they are in HTML format.
In the configuration screen I can see "[x] auto-cut at colum [78|] for text messages" \
                but:
- I want to cut my text messages
- I don't want to cut my HTML messages

After thinking to that I would have proposed to make TWO options: one for text \
messages, another for HTML messages. But it's non-sense: who would want to cut his \
HTML messages? So, please apply this setting only for text messages.

Another anoying thing:
- I like to use fixed font fox text messages because theire are somtimes graphics or \
things that requieres characters to be aligned
- I NEVER want to use fixed font for HTML messages: use the font defined in the \
message or, generaly, use a sans-serif one.
Again: this option is not relevant for HTML messages.

Those settings make managing a mix of text and HTML mails a little pain.
