Similar here with kmail 1.7.2 in KDE 3.3.2.

What happens for me is that the headers of the attached mail are destroyed, for some \
reason. Here's the beginning of the original header (names mangled for anonymity)

It began well, but what on earth happened at the 3rd Received: header? A \
Content-Type:, and X-UID: header is just blasted in, smack in the middle of the \
Received: header, and just to make it more exciting, an empty line is inserted too, \
to really confuse a mail reader about the meaning of the whole thing.

Pity. I more or less need the functionality...
