As the reporter, I guess I should mention I use courier-imap 3.0.8 and kmail 1.7.2, \
from kde 3.3.2. In my first post you can see the versions I had at the time.

When I delete all the index-files in .kde/share/apps/kmail/, kmail has to regenrate \
the indices, obviously, so I click each folder in turn to see the messages. After a \
number of folders, the first message of a folder often displays as one of the \
previous folder in the message list, when selecting it.

I thought i'd mention this again, because I don't know if it's the same problem Bernd \
Schubert is experiencing, because I don't do anything with POP. \
