I can confirm it as well for KDE 3.3.2 on Gentoo. Most of the time the preview fails, \
need to select another mail and come back to see the wanted mail. (Attachements \
loaded immediately)

Loading attachments on demand makes preview permanently failing for all emails with \
attachments. The other mails tend to show up as expected. In addition, loading \
attachments on demand does not load headers of the attachments => bad encoding for \
text/html parts. _______________________________________________
