I tested this with HEAD, and I do not see this problem.

I fired the addressbook and sent an email to one person, cc to another and bcc to a \
third and all mails arrived correctly.

In the composer is your BCC field visible?

If it is visible, does it add your bcc address into it but still don't send ?
