Annette, thanks for taking the time to report this. Unfortunately we don't have the \
resources to support older versions of KMail. Soon KMail 1.7 will be out as part of \
KDE 3.3 which contains many fixes for problems such as the ones you describe. Please \
try with a more current version, if you can. I'll close this bug report, since there \
is little we can do to improve the version you are using at this point. Thanks for \
