Summary: Messages signed with Inline OpenPGP (obsolete) have
                    wrong MIME type
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.6.82
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: mime
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: thiago.macieira kdemail net

Version:           1.6.82 (using KDE 3.2.90 (3.3 alpha1, CVS >= 20040522), compiled \
                sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (release)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.6

[See attached file for illustration]

When writing a message in KMail and signing it with Inline OpenPGP (obsolete), it is \
not properly encoded. KMail inserts the headers

Content-Type: text/plain
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

even if the message contains non-ASCII characters. I have seen examples of messages \
of my own being encoded in (8bit) UTF-8 and ISO-8859-1 whose headers are just like \
above.

I may also note that OpenPGP/MIME works fine, but it's not a replacement for me since \
some mailing lists will discard e-mails that aren't text/plain (i.e., they will \
discard multipart/signed).

Crypto backend is GpgME/OpenPGP. The others (Kgpg) can't sign at all.
