doesn't receive any commands so it goes into an IDLE loop. And when a \
client (kmail or whatver) asks for a mail check, the kioslave responds with \
the newmail details it was given while it was in its IDLE loop. I haven't \
looked at the imap slave code yet, so i could be way off the mark. \
