This is a "me too" comment. I think I might be bitten by the same bug.

I don't have much new to add other than I'm losing 1-5% of my mails in irreproduceble ways.

I *might* be able to set up a pop3-account (from my private webhotel) for testing.

I'm using kde 3.2.2
