It would really be helpful when you receive mails from a lot of different people, to color each one with a different, computer-automatically-chosen, color, so that it is possible to recognize quickly the mails from a specific person even if mails are sorted by arrival date.
I hope you understand what I mean, if not let me know, I'll provide you a gimp mock-up, so that you get my point immediately.
