Summary: Clicking inline button when viewing gif attachment
                    causes crash
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.6.1
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: kdebugs twowheels us

Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.24-xfs

I received an e-mail from a coworker that contained a screenshot as a .GIF file. The \
file was 36.7 KB and there was no text in the message.

When I right click on the icon of the attachment and choose "view", another window \
options to display the GIF file. The last icon to the right of the toolbar has a \
tooltip that says "inline", which I assume will display the attachment in the \
original message inline instead of as an icon, but every time I click it, the program \
crashes.

The only info available in the crash handler that looks useful says:

#0 0x41b55bd8 in waitpid () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#1 0x413a6b78 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4
#2  0x412d7f54 in KCrash::defaultCrashHandler(int) ()
   from /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4
