Looks like i found the reason.

After fresh KDE install and configuration, "Sender" wasn't set by KMail so it \
couldn't deliver SMTP message. It was just set up as blank. And by default, "Sender" \
field isn't shown in message composition window same as no warning messages happen \
when I'm trying to send a message with blank/invalid "Sender" field.

For the future, maybe it would be good to:

1. Make "Sender" field to be visible by default while composing a new message?
2. Display descriptive warning dialog when composed message is missing some required \
fields.
