Summary: refresh IMAP folder in context menu
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: dan mojavelinux com

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.0)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-10mdk

I have seen other bugs, all of which are closed, regarding the refreshing of an IMAP folder. In many of \
the reports, the reporter seemed to figure out the technique which I have been using, which is to click \
away and then click on the folder again. This technique is a dirty hack. There is no reason that an \
option cannot be added to the context menu entitled:

"Refresh Folder"

which sychronizes the folder with IMAP, checking for new messages. This is NOT the same thing as \
interval mail checking because it is used during times when you need an instant refresh of your INBOX, \
such as when you are subscribing, unsubscribing from a mailinglist. Many people prefer to have a modest \
interval for mail checking, such as 15 minutes, but might need to access messages sooner during certain \
peek periods (your boss just called and told you to respond to the email he sent).

Please consider adding this feature as it really will feel natural to a lot of IMAP users, rather than \
having to trick KMail into doing it by clicking away and back on the folder again. \
