------- I encountered the same problem. After installing the new KDE 3.2 I \
couldn't connect to my E-Mail-Server with authentication. It worked fine \
with the old version of kmail (I'm not sure about the old version number, \
the one that came together with KDE 3.1)

First I tried to fix this problem my self by changing Encryption and \
Authentication Method. "Check what the Server supports" works, but after \
using these settings it didn't work eather. What happened to this new \
version? How can I fix this problem or is it a bug, that came together with \
