I do not recall any similar problems in the previous version, however, at that 
time I was not getting nearly the volume of emails I am now.  ( I am now the 
recipient of all my company's bounced messages, hostmaster, postmaster and 
webmaster ) mails.  I frequenly get 200+ messages every 5 minutes.  Could the 
large volume be the case?  Does the client begin deleting before the download 
has reported completion?  Are the processes seperate?  The server is running 
qmail, and unfortunately, I cannot provide a test account.

No recent changes have been made, the only difference has been the increasd 
volume of mail.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  I appreciate your effort, however.
