Hmm, it seems to crash in the composer. Maybe there's a bad "dead.letter" (or \
similar) file lying around in your home directory. Try if deleting this file helps.

Apart from that you might want to update to KDE 3.2.0 as described in
http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75335#c3 (Comment #3).
