How to Reproduce:

1.) Create an IMAP account with multiple folders (may happen with only one folder \
too, but *I* have multiple folders...)

2.) Close KMail

3.) Open KMail

4.) Click on either a folder or the "Check Mail" button in the toolbar at the top.

On my version of KMail this operation succeeds, but the progress bar doesn't show up \
for this first Mail Check. Subsequent clicks on the "Check Mail" button or on a \
folder will display the progress bar just fine.

Using KMail 1.5.4 with KDE 3.1.4 on FreeBSD 5.2-RELEASE.
