The index file of your outbox folder seems to be corrupt. You should clean it as \
follows: Make sure that there are no unsent messages in the outbox folder, exit \
KMail, run 'rm -rf ~/Mail/outbox ~/Mail/.outbox.index*'. Now you can start KMail \
again.

BTW, this is basically a duplicate of bug 43931. The only difference is that your \
outbox folder seems to be in mbox format while the other bug report is about outbox \
folders in maildir format. So you experience the same bug (bogus index file) but with \
different symptoms.
