Summary: Text attachments encoded with "None" arrive garbled
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.6
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde@kde.lka.org.lu

Version: 1.6 (using KDE 3.2.0 RC1, SuSE)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

When attaching a text document and chosing Encoding "None (7 bit Text)" or "None (8 \
bit Text)": in the properties box, the text arrives garbled. This does not happen \
neither with Base64 nor with Quoted Printable.

The annoying thing is of course that "None (7 bit Text)" is the preselected default. \
If you don't remember to change Encoding, the text arrives garbled.

How to reproduce:

1. Attach text to message
2. Save as draft (or, actually send it)
3. View message, and save attachment under different name
4. Use "cmp" or "diff" to compare original and copy.
