Summary: unusual date format shows as "unknown" date
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: stephan@cs.tu-berlin.de

Version: 1.5.4 (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-xfs

I know there has been some discussion on malformed date
formats.
However, here is another date format, that is not interpreted
but shows as "unknown" in the Date field:

Date: Tue Jan 27 18:29:39 2004 EDT

Such mails seem to be systematically generated by
CyberChair. Would be nice, if kmail could interpret this
format, too.
