Please disable "Load attachments on demand" for the IMAP account and try if this \
fixes the problem. This problem seems to be similar to other problems with load on \
demand which have been fixed very recently. If possible please try if updating to the \
most recent cvs version helps.

An example message which demonstrates the problem would be very helpful.
