Summary: Bad feedback on incorrect email address
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.5.94
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel@kde.org
        ReportedBy: zander@kde.org

Version: 1.5.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (CVS >= 20031206), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.0dell-optiplex

When sending I got the following error:

Sending failed:
The attempt to start sending the message content failed.
The server responded: "valid RCPT command must precede DATA"
The message will stay in the 'outbox' folder until you either fix the problem (e.g. a \
broken address) or remove the message from the 'outbox' folder. The following \
transport protocol was used: @home

This was due to the recipients email being formatted like this: "first last \
<user@host.de" Notice the missing '>' at the end.

I would like the above text to be formatted nicer so its actually readable for mere \
mortals. Additionally, since the bug is fixable by the user, it should not go into \
the outbox, it should be re-opened with the request to fix the 'To:' field. \
