------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71487 Summary: encryption options disabled although openpgp is selected Product: kmail Version: 1.5.94 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kmail-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: phil@freehackers.org Version: 1.5.94 (using KDE 3.1.94 (3.2 Beta 2), Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r1, propolice) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-gentoo-r7 I am trying to setup the usage of encryption with kmail. Although I have selected gnu pg as the encrpytion tool in the security panel, I still can not use encrpytion. I was ablte to use it for five minutes and then it disapeared, after I added a new key. Right now, the security panel mentions 'Gnu PG' but if I go on one of my identities, try to change the key used for this identity, a dialog will tell me that I am not using any encrpytion tool. If I compose a message, I can not sign it or encrpyt it at all. I am sorry not to be able to give more hints about this. I'll dig more to see if I find something, but it seems clear that kmail does not understand that I have gnu pg installed. _______________________________________________ KMail developers mailing list KMail-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kmail-devel
