Yep - like clockwork :-) 

But it only happens if I add one or more users which are in "categories". this might \
be related Bug 68422, but I don't know.

I managed to reproduce this behavior with a new user:
- create a new user
- launch kmail
- go to tools->address book
- create two or more contacts, one of which must have a category set
- save and close kabc
- create a new mail
- click the "browse" button for "To:"
- open the category you chose and double click the user there
- add some more users
- click "save as distribution list"
- enter something in the dialog and hit OK

at this point my kmail crashes with the above stack trace and STDOUT/ERR
