Andre, we can't come up with a scenario that would cause kmail to delete all mail in \
your inbox (or any other mailbox) in the way you described. That doesn't mean that we \
are not believing you that you think kmail did do so, but please understand that \
there is very little we can do unless we or you can find a way to reproduce the \
behavior you describe. As it stands now, the most probable cause for what you saw \
seems to be something outside of kmail fuzzing with your mail store. All we can do at \
this point is suggest you implement a reliable backup scheme (which is a good idea \
for any kind of half way important data) and tell us as soon as you find a way to \
make kmail do such a nasty deletion again. Thanks for not losing your trust in kmail. \
