Andre, we can't come up with a scenario that would cause kmail to delete \
all mail in your inbox (or any other mailbox) in the way you described. \
That doesn't mean that we are not believing you that you think kmail did do \
so, but please understand that there is very little we can do unless we or \
you can find a way to reproduce the behavior you describe. As it stands \
now, the most probable cause for what you saw seems to be something outside \
of kmail fuzzing with your mail store. All we can do at this point is \
suggest you implement a reliable backup scheme (which is a good idea for \
any kind of half way important data) and tell us as soon as you find a way \
to make kmail do such a nasty deletion again. Thanks for not losing your \
