Summary: user ids are compared case sensitive while email
                    addresses are case insensitive
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: encryption
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: kde-bugs@rameria.de

Version: unknown (using KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: (3.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-usbfixed

I would like to verify the signature of a email for the keyid 0x4F892EE6 at keyserver \
hkp://pgp.mit.edu.

E-Mail as source will be created as an attachment.

The problem is: The user ID is in MiXeD case, while the user writes in lower case and \
the openPGP plugin doesn't detect this.

I use gnupg as my encryption tool and otherwise it works like a charm.

I also imported the key manually, but this does not help solving the issue.

The other end uses KMail 1.5.4, too.

Thanks for any help.
