Summary: Managing subscriptions shows no result
           Product: kmail
           Version: 1.5.93
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: zander@kde.org

Version: 1.5.93 (using KDE 3.1.93 (CVS >= 20031028), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031005 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21

After managing my subscriptions there was no result in the tree of KMail at all; I \
had to go to the config dialog and enable subscriptions there.

I suggest to show a model yes/no/cancel dialog _on top of_ the subscriptions dialog \
as soon as it opens when the 'show only subscribed' checkbox is disabled. A text \
like: "Currently subscriptions are not used for server %1\ndo you want to enable \
subscriptions?" Where cancel in the dialog box just closes both the dialog and the \
subscription dialog. Naturally the actual enabling of subscriptions should only be \
done when the subscriptions dialog is exitted with the 'ok' button. \
