Summary: crash when trying to compose a new mail
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: mortene@ii.uib.no

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.93)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3 20030326 prerelease
OS: Linux

When trying to start a new mail, from scratch or when replying to someone in my \
inbox, kmail crashes immediatly.

This is what it spits out to console:
QDict: Cannot insert null item
QDict: Cannot insert null item
QDict: Cannot insert null item
QDict: Cannot insert null item
QDict: Cannot insert null item
kmail: WARNING: Unknown codec "7bit" requested!
kmail: relocation error: /opt/kde3/lib/libkmailprivate.so.0: undefined symbol: \
_ZN24KDictSpellingHighlighterC1EP9QTextEditbbRK6QColorbS4_S4_S4_S4_

So I guess it might be spellcheckingrelated, but the spellchecker seems ok in \
programs like kwrite. _______________________________________________
