added a test imap account. checked mail on it worked ok (friend was having problems \
accessing his so wanted to test from mine). In the kmail config menu \
"network/receiving" selected the imap account, clicked on remove and crashed.

tried restarting straight after and got the following message.
2Only one instance of KMail can be run at any one time. It is already running with \
PID 3060 on host ysl-dev according to the lock file located at \
/home/steve/.kde/share/apps/kmail/lock."

killall kmail, and it starts ok, imap folder has been deleted. Tried to replicate \
problem but seems to be ok now.  Filing this so there is a record of it.
