Summary: Creating a new IMAP folder does not give the option to
                    store both messages and subfolders
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
        ReportedBy: cet@carlthompson.net

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.92)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

When a new IMAP folder is created by Kmail, it asks me if I wish to store messages or \
subfolders in the new folder. However, many (most?) IMAP servers can store both at \
the same time including the one I use (Cyrus). Looking at the responses to bug \
55295 (http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=55295) suggests that Kmail should be able \
to automatically detect that my IMAP server supports both messages and subfolders in \
the same folder however it does not appear to be doing this correctly. \
