The people that entered them normally had to work through the bugs system to get them in, so those wishes do carry some weight. Also, users want to feel involved, and closing their wishes without justification (or worse, "thats a dumb idea!") doesn't make for happy customers. This isn't to say that WONTFIX isn't a valid closure action for wishes that are contrary to the basic architecture, or would result in usability problems. Just that as stuff is refactored (eg to an integrated PIM solution), those wishes are worth a though.
