Summary: When dragging a mail password field is inaccessible
Product: kmail
Version: 1.5.3
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kmail@kde.org
ReportedBy: gerrit@visscher.de
Version: 1.5.3 (using KDE 3.1.3)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 3.3 20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.20-4GB-athlon
I dragged an E-Mail from inbox to a subfolder, while Kmail was still \
downloading new Mails. Then kmail accessed a new POP3 Account and requested \
the password. So when the password-window appeared, I still was dragging \
the email, and had no mousecursor but the mail... I was not able to click \
into the password filed to enter the password, nor was it possible to drop \
the mail into the subfolder. The only way to get out of this, was to cancel \
both operations by pressing [escape].
I guess it would be better, if at least one of the operation could be \
finished correctly. The best way would be: I can enter the password, while \
the mail is still "holded by the mouse" so I can drop it into the subfolder \
afterwards. _______________________________________________
